ਆਪ ਡੁਬੇ ਚਹੁ ਬੇਦ ਮਹਿ ਚੇਲੇ ਦੀਏ ਬਹਾਇ ॥੧੦੪॥ aap ddube chahu bed meh chele dee bahaae |104| He himself is drowning in the four Vedas; he drowns his disciples as well. ||104|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਜੇਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਏ ਰਾਖੇ ਤਲੈ ਦੁਰਾਇ ॥ kabeer jete paap kee raakhe talai duraae | Kabeer, whatever sins the mortal has committed, he tries to keep hidden under cover. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਪਰਗਟ ਭਏ ਨਿਦਾਨ ਸਭ ਜਬ ਪੂਛੇ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ॥੧੦੫॥ paragatt bhe nidaan sabh jab poochhe dharam raae |105| But in the end, they shall all be revealed, when the Righteous Judge of Dharma investigates. ||105|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਪਾਲਿਓ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਕੁਟੰਬੁ ॥ kabeer har kaa simaran chhaadd kai paalio bahut kuttanb | Kabeer, you have given up meditating on the Lord, and you have raised a large family. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਧੰਧਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਇਆ ਭਾਈ ਰਹਿਆ ਨ ਬੰਧੁ ॥੧੦੬॥ dhandhaa karataa reh geaa bhaaee rahiaa na bandh |106| You continue to involve yourself in worldly affairs, but none of your brothers and relatives remain. ||106|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਰਾਤਿ ਜਗਾਵਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ kabeer har kaa simaran chhaadd kai raat jagaavan jaae | Kabeer, those who give up meditation on the Lord, and get up at night to wake the spirits of the dead, - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਸਰਪਨਿ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਅਉਤਰੈ ਜਾਏ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਖਾਇ ॥੧੦੭॥ sarapan hoe kai aautarai jaae apune khaae |107| shall be reincarnated as snakes, and eat their own offspring. ||107|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਅਹੋਈ ਰਾਖੈ ਨਾਰਿ ॥ kabeer har kaa simaran chhaadd kai ahoee raakhai naar | Kabeer, the woman who gives up meditation on the Lord, and observes the ritual fast of Ahoi, - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਗਦਹੀ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਅਉਤਰੈ ਭਾਰੁ ਸਹੈ ਮਨ ਚਾਰਿ ॥੧੦੮॥ gadahee hoe kai aautarai bhaar sahai man chaar |108| shall be reincarnated as a donkey, to carry heavy burdens. ||108|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ਅਤਿ ਘਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ kabeer chaturaaee at ghanee har jap hiradai maeh | Kabeer, it is the most clever wisdom, to chant and meditate on the Lord in the heart. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਸੂਰੀ ਊਪਰਿ ਖੇਲਨਾ ਗਿਰੈ ਤ ਠਾਹਰ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੧੦੯॥ sooree aoopar khelanaa girai ta tthaahar naeh |109| It is like playing on a pig; if you fall off, you will find no place of rest. ||109|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋੁਈ ਮੁਖੁ ਧੰਨਿ ਹੈ ਜਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਕਹੀਐ ਰਾਮੁ ॥ kabeer suoee mukh dhan hai jaa mukh kaheeai raam | Kabeer, blessed is that mouth, which utters the Lord’s Name. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਦੇਹੀ ਕਿਸ ਕੀ ਬਾਪੁਰੀ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੁ ਹੋਇਗੋ ਗ੍ਰਾਮੁ ॥੧੧੦॥ dehee kis kee baapuree pavitru hoeigo graam |110| It purifies the body, and the whole village as well. ||110|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋਈ ਕੁਲ ਭਲੀ ਜਾ ਕੁਲ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਦਾਸੁ ॥ kabeer soee kul bhalee jaa kul har ko daas | Kabeer, that family is good, in which the Lord’s slave is born. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਜਿਹ ਕੁਲ ਦਾਸੁ ਨ ਊਪਜੈ ਸੋ ਕੁਲ ਢਾਕੁ ਪਲਾਸੁ ॥੧੧੧॥ jih kul daas na aoopajai so kul dtaak palaas |111| But that family in which the Lord’s slave is not born is as useless as weeds. ||111|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਹੈ ਗਇ ਬਾਹਨ ਸਘਨ ਘਨ ਲਾਖ ਧਜਾ ਫਹਰਾਹਿ ॥ kabeer hai ge baahan saghan ghan laakh dhajaa faharaeh | Kabeer, some have lots of horses, elephants and carriages, and thousands of banners waving. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਇਆ ਸੁਖ ਤੇ ਭਿਖੵਾ ਭਲੀ ਜਉ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੧੧੨॥ eaa sukh te bhikhayaa bhalee jau har simarat din jaeh |112| But begging is better than these comforts, if one spends his days meditating in remembrance on the Lord. ||112|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਹਉ ਫਿਰਿਓ ਮਾਂਦਲੁ ਕੰਧ ਚਢਾਇ ॥ kabeer sabh jag hau firio maandal kandh chadtaae | Kabeer, I have wandered all over the world, carrying the drum on my shoulder. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕੋਈ ਕਾਹੂ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ ਸਭ ਦੇਖੀ ਠੋਕਿ ਬਜਾਇ ॥੧੧੩॥ koee kaahoo ko nahee sabh dekhee tthok bajaae |113| No one belongs to anyone else; I have looked and carefully studied it. ||113|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਮਾਰਗਿ ਮੋਤੀ ਬੀਥਰੇ ਅੰਧਾ ਨਿਕਸਿਓ ਆਇ ॥ maarag motee beethare andhaa nikasio aae | The pearls are scattered on the road; the blind man comes along. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਜੋਤਿ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਕੀ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਲੰਘੇ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੧੪॥ jot binaa jagadees kee jagat ulanghe jaae |114| Without the Light of the Lord of the Universe, the world just passes them by. ||114|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਬੂਡਾ ਬੰਸੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਕਾ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਪੂਤੁ ਕਮਾਲੁ ॥ booddaa bans kabeer kaa upajio poot kamaal | My family is drowned, O Kabeer, since the birth of my son Kamaal. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਛਾਡਿ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਲੇ ਆਯਾ ਮਾਲੁ ॥੧੧੫॥ har kaa simaran chhaadd kai ghar le aayaa maal |115| He has given up meditating on the Lord, in order to bring home wealth. ||115|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਕਉ ਮਿਲਨੇ ਜਾਈਐ ਸਾਥਿ ਨ ਲੀਜੈ ਕੋਇ ॥ kabeer saadhoo kau milane jaaeeai saath na leejai koe | Kabeer, go out to meet the holy man; do not take anyone else with you. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਪਾਛੈ ਪਾਉ ਨ ਦੀਜੀਐ ਆਗੈ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੧੧੬॥ paachhai paau na deejeeai aagai hoe su hoe |116| Do not turn back - keep on going. Whatever will be, will be. ||116|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਜਗੁ ਬਾਧਿਓ ਜਿਹ ਜੇਵਰੀ ਤਿਹ ਮਤ ਬੰਧਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ॥ kabeer jag baadhio jih jevaree tih mat bandhahu kabeer | Kabeer, do not bind yourself with that chain, which binds the whole world. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਜੈਹਹਿ ਆਟਾ ਲੋਨ ਜਿਉ ਸੋਨ ਸਮਾਨਿ ਸਰੀਰੁ ॥੧੧੭॥ jaiheh aattaa lon jiau son samaan sareer |117| As the salt is lost in the flour, so shall your golden body be lost. ||117|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਹੰਸੁ ਉਡਿਓ ਤਨੁ ਗਾਡਿਓ ਸੋਝਾਈ ਸੈਨਾਹ ॥ kabeer hans uddio tan gaaddio sojhaaee sainaah | Kabeer, the soul-swan is flying away, and the body is being buried, and still he makes gestures. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਅਜਹੂ ਜੀਉ ਨ ਛੋਡਈ ਰੰਕਾਈ ਨੈਨਾਹ ॥੧੧੮॥ ajahoo jeeo na chhoddee rankaaee nainaah |118| Even then, the mortal does not give up the cruel look in his eyes. ||118|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਨੈਨ ਨਿਹਾਰਉ ਤੁਝ ਕਉ ਸ੍ਰਵਨ ਸੁਨਉ ਤੁਅ ਨਾਉ ॥ kabeer nain nihaarau tujh kau sravan sunau tua naau | Kabeer: with my eyes, I see You, Lord; with my ears, I hear Your Name. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਬੈਨ ਉਚਰਉ ਤੁਅ ਨਾਮ ਜੀ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਰਿਦ ਠਾਉ ॥੧੧੯॥ bain uchrau tua naam jee charan kamal rid tthaau |119| With my tongue I chant Your Name; I enshrine Your Lotus Feet within my heart. ||119|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਸੁਰਗ ਨਰਕ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ kabeer surag narak te mai rahio satigur ke parasaad | Kabeer, I have been spared from heaven and hell, by the Grace of the True Guru. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕੀ ਮਉਜ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਉ ਅੰਤਿ ਅਰੁ ਆਦਿ ॥੧੨੦॥ charan kamal kee mauj meh rhau ant ar aad |120| From beginning to end, I abide in the joy of the Lord’s Lotus Feet. ||120|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕੀ ਮਉਜ ਕੋ ਕਹਿ ਕੈਸੇ ਉਨਮਾਨ ॥ kabeer charan kamal kee mauj ko keh kaise unamaan | Kabeer, how can I even describe the extent of the joy of the Lord’s Lotus Feet? - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਹਿਬੇ ਕਉ ਸੋਭਾ ਨਹੀ ਦੇਖਾ ਹੀ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥੧੨੧॥ kahibe kau sobhaa nahee dekhaa hee paravaan |121| I cannot describe its sublime glory; it has to be seen to be appreciated. ||121|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਦੇਖਿ ਕੈ ਕਿਹ ਕਹਉ ਕਹੇ ਨ ਕੋ ਪਤੀਆਇ ॥ kabeer dekh kai kih khau kahe na ko pateeae | Kabeer, how can I describe what I have seen? No one will believe my words. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਹਰਿ ਜੈਸਾ ਤੈਸਾ ਉਹੀ ਰਹਉ ਹਰਖਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇ ॥੧੨੨॥ har jaisaa taisaa uhee rhau harakh gun gaae |122| The Lord is just as He is. I dwell in delight, singing His Glorious Praises. ||122|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
