ਸਾਗਰ ਮੇਰ ਉਦਿਆਨ ਬਨ ਨਵ ਖੰਡ ਬਸੁਧਾ ਭਰਮ ॥ saagar mer udiaan ban nav khandd basudhaa bharam | I would cross the oceans, mountains, wilderness, forests and the nine regions of the earth in a single step, - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਮੂਸਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਰੰਮ ਕੈ ਗਨਉ ਏਕ ਕਰਿ ਕਰਮ ॥੩॥ moosan prem piram kai gnau ek kar karam |3| O Musan, for the Love of my Beloved. ||3|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਮੂਸਨ ਮਸਕਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੀ ਰਹੀ ਜੁ ਅੰਬਰੁ ਛਾਇ ॥ moosan masakar prem kee rahee ju anbar chhaae | O Musan, the Light of the Lord’s Love has spread across the sky; - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਬੀਧੇ ਬਾਂਧੇ ਕਮਲ ਮਹਿ ਭਵਰ ਰਹੇ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥੪॥ beedhe baandhe kamal meh bhavar rahe lapattaae |4| I cling to my Lord, like the bumble bee caught in the lotus flower. ||4|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਜਪ ਤਪ ਸੰਜਮ ਹਰਖ ਸੁਖ ਮਾਨ ਮਹਤ ਅਰੁ ਗਰਬ ॥ jap tap sanjam harakh sukh maan mehat ar garab | Chanting and intense meditation, austere self-discipline, pleasure and peace, honor, greatness and pride - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਮੂਸਨ ਨਿਮਖਕ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਰਿ ਵਾਰਿ ਵਾਰਿ ਦੇਂਉ ਸਰਬ ॥੫॥ moosan nimakhak prem par vaar vaar denau sarab |5|
- O Musan, I would dedicate and sacrifice all these for a moment of my Lord’s Love. ||5|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਮੂਸਨ ਮਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਨਈ ਮਰਤ ਹਿਰਤ ਸੰਸਾਰ ॥ moosan maram na jaanee marat hirat sansaar | O Musan, the world does not understand the Mystery of the Lord; it is dying and being plundered. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਰੰਮ ਨ ਬੇਧਿਓ ਉਰਝਿਓ ਮਿਥ ਬਿਉਹਾਰ ॥੬॥ prem piram na bedhio urajhio mith biauhaar |6| It is not pierced through by the Love of the Beloved Lord; it is entangled in false pursuits. ||6|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਘਬੁ ਦਬੁ ਜਬ ਜਾਰੀਐ ਬਿਛੁਰਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਬਿਹਾਲ ॥ ghab dab jab jaareeai bichhurat prem bihaal | When someone’s home and property are burnt, because of his attachment to them, he suffers in the sorrow of separation. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਮੂਸਨ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਮੂਸੀਐ ਬਿਸਰਤ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਇਆਲ ॥੭॥ moosan tab hee mooseeai bisarat purakh deaal |7| O Musan, when mortals forget the Merciful Lord God, then they are truly plundered. ||7|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਜਾ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੁਆਉ ਹੈ ਚਰਨ ਚਿਤਵ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥ jaa ko prem suaau hai charan chitav man maeh | Whoever enjoys the taste of the Lord’s Love, remembers His Lotus Feet in his mind. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਰਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੇ ਆਨ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੮॥ naanak birahee braham ke aan na katahoo jaeh |8| O Nanak, the lovers of God do not go anywhere else. ||8|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਲਖ ਘਾਟੀਂ ਊਂਚੌ ਘਨੋ ਚੰਚਲ ਚੀਤ ਬਿਹਾਲ ॥ lakh ghaatteen aoonchau ghano chanchal cheet bihaal | Climbing thousands of steep hillsides, the fickle mind becomes miserable. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਨੀਚ ਕੀਚ ਨਿਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਘਨੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਕਮਲ ਜਮਾਲ ॥੯॥ neech keech nimrit ghanee karanee kamal jamaal |9| Look at the humble, lowly mud, O Jamaal: the beautiful lotus grows in it. ||9|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਕਮਲ ਨੈਨ ਅੰਜਨ ਸਿਆਮ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਬਦਨ ਚਿਤ ਚਾਰ ॥ kamal nain anjan siaam chandr badan chit chaar | My Lord has lotus-eyes; His Face is so beautifully adorned. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਮੂਸਨ ਮਗਨ ਮਰੰਮ ਸਿਉ ਖੰਡ ਖੰਡ ਕਰਿ ਹਾਰ ॥੧੦॥ moosan magan maram siau khandd khandd kar haar |10| O Musan, I am intoxicated with His Mystery. I break the necklace of pride into bits. ||10|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਮਗਨੁ ਭਇਓ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਿਉ ਸੂਧ ਨ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਅੰਗ ॥ magan bheo pria prem siau soodh na simarat ang | I am intoxicated with the Love of my Husband Lord; remembering Him in meditation, I am not conscious of my own body. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿ ਭਇਓ ਸਭ ਲੋਅ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਧਮ ਪਤੰਗ ॥੧੧॥ pragatt bheo sabh loa meh naanak adham patang |11| He is revealed in all His Glory, all throughout the world. Nanak is a lowly moth at His Flame. ||11|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji

ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦੀ ਸਗਲ ਭਗਤ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਸੁਖੁ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮੁ ॥੧॥ aad jugaadee sagal bhagat taa ko sukh bisraam |1| From the very beginning, and throughout the ages, all the devotees abide in tranquil peace. ||1|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji

ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਇਸ ਜਾਤਿ ਕਉ ਜਿਹ ਜਪਿਓ ਸਿਰਜਨਹਾਰੁ ॥੨॥ balihaaree is jaat kau jih japio sirajanahaar |2| I am a sacrifice to this social class, in which I chant and meditate on the Creator. ||2|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਡਗਮਗ ਕਿਆ ਕਰਹਿ ਕਹਾ ਡੁਲਾਵਹਿ ਜੀਉ ॥ kabeer ddagamag kiaa kareh kahaa ddulaaveh jeeo | Kabeer, why do you stumble? Why does your soul waver? - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਕੋ ਨਾਇਕੋ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਉ ॥੩॥ sarab sookh ko naaeiko raam naam ras peeo |3| He is the Lord of all comforts and peace; drink in the Sublime Essence of the Lord’s Name. ||3|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਕੰਚਨ ਕੇ ਕੁੰਡਲ ਬਨੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਲਾਲ ਜੜਾਉ ॥ kabeer kanchan ke kunddal bane aoopar laal jarraau | Kabeer, earrings made of gold and studded with jewels, - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਦੀਸਹਿ ਦਾਧੇ ਕਾਨ ਜਿਉ ਜਿਨੑ ਮਨਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਨਾਉ ॥੪॥ deeseh daadhe kaan jiau jina man naahee naau |4| look like burnt twigs, if the Name is not in the mind. ||4|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਐਸਾ ਏਕੁ ਆਧੁ ਜੋ ਜੀਵਤ ਮਿਰਤਕੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ kabeer aisaa ek aadh jo jeevat miratak hoe | Kabeer, rare is such a person, who remains dead while yet alive. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਨਿਰਭੈ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਗੁਨ ਰਵੈ ਜਤ ਪੇਖਉ ਤਤ ਸੋਇ ॥੫॥ nirabhai hoe kai gun ravai jat pekhau tat soe |5| Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, he is fearless. Wherever I look, the Lord is there. ||5|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਜਾ ਦਿਨ ਹਉ ਮੂਆ ਪਾਛੈ ਭਇਆ ਅਨੰਦੁ ॥ kabeer jaa din hau mooaa paachhai bheaa anand | Kabeer, on the day when I die, afterwards there shall be bliss. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਮੋਹਿ ਮਿਲਿਓ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਨਾ ਸੰਗੀ ਭਜਹਿ ਗੋੁਬਿੰਦੁ ॥੬॥ mohi milio prabh aapanaa sangee bhajeh guobind |6| I shall meet with my Lord God. Those with me shall meditate and vibrate on the Lord of the Universe. ||6|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਸਭ ਤੇ ਹਮ ਬੁਰੇ ਹਮ ਤਜਿ ਭਲੋ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥ kabeer sabh te ham bure ham taj bhalo sabh koe | Kabeer, I am the worst of all. Everyone else is good. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਜਿਨਿ ਐਸਾ ਕਰਿ ਬੂਝਿਆ ਮੀਤੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਸੋਇ ॥੭॥ jin aisaa kar boojhiaa meet hamaaraa soe |7| Whoever understands this is a friend of mine. ||7|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਆਈ ਮੁਝਹਿ ਪਹਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਕਰੇ ਕਰਿ ਭੇਸ ॥ kabeer aaee mujheh peh anik kare kar bhes | Kabeer, she came to me in various forms and disguises. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਹਮ ਰਾਖੇ ਗੁਰ ਆਪਨੇ ਉਨਿ ਕੀਨੋ ਆਦੇਸੁ ॥੮॥ ham raakhe gur aapane un keeno aades |8| My Guru saved me, and now she bows humbly to me. ||8|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋਈ ਮਾਰੀਐ ਜਿਹ ਮੂਐ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ kabeer soee maareeai jih mooai sukh hoe | Kabeer, kill only that, which, when killed, shall bring peace. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਭਲੋ ਭਲੋ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਕਹੈ ਬੁਰੋ ਨ ਮਾਨੈ ਕੋਇ ॥੯॥ bhalo bhalo sabh ko kahai buro na maanai koe |9| Everyone shall call you good, very good, and no one shall think you are bad. ||9|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
