ਗੋਵਿਦੁ ਗੋਵਿਦੁ ਗੋਵਿਦੁ ਜਪਿ ਮੁਖੁ ਊਜਲਾ ਪਰਧਾਨੁ ॥ govid govid govid jap mukh aoojalaa paradhaan | Meditating on God, chanting Govind, Govind, Govind, your face shall be radiant; you shall be famous and exalted. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰੁ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਿਤੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਮੁ ॥੨॥ naanak gur govind har jit mil har paaeaa naam |2| O Nanak, the Guru is the Lord God, the Lord of the Universe; meeting Him, you shall obtain the Name of the Lord. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਤੂੰ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕੋ ਤੂ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਜੁਗ ਜੋਗੀਆ ॥ toon aape hee sidh saadhiko too aape hee jug jogeea | You Yourself are the Siddha and the seeker; You Yourself are the Yoga and the Yogi. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤੂ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਰਸ ਰਸੀਅੜਾ ਤੂ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਭੋਗ ਭੋਗੀਆ ॥ too aape hee ras raseearraa too aape hee bhog bhogeea | You Yourself are the Taster of tastes; You Yourself are the Enjoyer of pleasures. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤੂ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਤੂ ਆਪੇ ਕਰਹਿ ਸੁ ਹੋਗੀਆ ॥ too aape aap varatadaa too aape kareh su hogeea | You Yourself are All-pervading; whatever You do comes to pass. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਧੰਨੁ ਧਨੋੁ ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਧਨੋ ਜਿਤੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਬੁਲਗ ਬੁਲੋਗੀਆ ॥ satasangat satigur dhan dhanuo dhan dhan dhano jit mil har bulag bulogeea | Blessed, blessed, blessed, blessed, blessed is the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation of the True Guru. ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਕੋਇ ॥ har har har har naam hai guramukh paavai koe | Har, Har, Har, Har is the Name of the Lord; rare are those who, as Gurmukh, obtain it. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਉਮੈ ਮਮਤਾ ਨਾਸੁ ਹੋਇ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਕਢੈ ਧੋਇ ॥ haumai mamataa naas hoe duramat kadtai dhoe | Egotism and possessiveness are eradicated, and evil-mindedness is washed away. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਨਾਨਕ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਰੈ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਧੁਰਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ naanak anadin gun ucharai jin kau dhur likhiaa hoe |1| O Nanak, one who is blessed with such pre-ordained destiny chants the Lord’s Praises, night and day. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ har aape aap deaal har aape kare su hoe | The Lord Himself is Merciful; whatever the Lord Himself does, comes to pass. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥ har aape aap varatadaa har jevadd avar na koe | The Lord Himself is All-pervading. There is no other as Great as the Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਥੀਐ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਇ ॥ jo har prabh bhaavai so theeai jo har prabh kare su hoe | Whatever pleases the Lord God’s Will comes to pass; whatever the Lord God does is done. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਈਆ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਇ ॥ keemat kinai na paaeea beant prabhoo har soe | No one can appraise His Value; the Lord God is Endless. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਲਾਹਿਆ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੨॥ naanak guramukh har saalaahiaa tan man seetal hoe |2| O Nanak, as Gurmukh, praise the Lord; your body and mind shall be cooled and soothed. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਸਭ ਜੋਤਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਗਜੀਵਨਾ ਤੂ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗਨਾ ॥ sabh jot teree jagajeevanaa too ghatt ghatt har rang ranganaa | You are the Light of all, the Life of the World; You imbue each and every heart with Your Love. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਭਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮਾ ਤੂ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਿਰੰਜਨਾ ॥ sabh dhiaaveh tudh mere preetamaa too sat sat purakh niranjanaa | All meditate on You, O my Beloved; You are the True, True Primal Being, the Immaculate Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਇਕੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਸਭੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਭਿਖਾਰੀਆ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਚਹਿ ਸਭ ਮੰਗ ਮੰਗਨਾ ॥ eik daataa sabh jagat bhikhaareea har jaacheh sabh mang manganaa | The One is the Giver; the whole world is the beggar. All the beggars beg for His Gifts. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸੇਵਕੁ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੂਹੈ ਤੂਹੈ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਹਰਿ ਚੰਗ ਚੰਗਨਾ ॥ sevak tthaakur sabh toohai toohai guramatee har chang changanaa | You are the servant, and You are the Lord and Master of all. Through the Guru’s Teachings, we are ennobled and uplifted. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਭਿ ਕਹਹੁ ਮੁਖਹੁ ਰਿਖੀਕੇਸੁ ਹਰੇ ਰਿਖੀਕੇਸੁ ਹਰੇ ਜਿਤੁ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਸਭ ਫਲ ਫਲਨਾ ॥੨॥ sabh kahahu mukhahu rikheekes hare rikheekes hare jit paaveh sabh fal falanaa |2| Let everyone say that the Lord is the Master of the senses, the Master of all faculties; through Him, we obtain all fruits and rewards. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮਾਨੁ ॥ har har naam dhiaae man har daragah paaveh maan | O mind, meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har; you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜੋ ਇਛਹਿ ਸੋ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਇਸੀ ਗੁਰਸਬਦੀ ਲਗੈ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥ jo ichheh so fal paaeisee gurasabadee lagai dhiaan | You shall obtain the fruits that you desire, focusing your meditation on the Word of the Guru’s Shabad. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਪਾਪ ਸਭਿ ਕਟੀਅਹਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਚੁਕੈ ਗੁਮਾਨੁ ॥ kilavikh paap sabh katteeeh haumai chukai gumaan | All your sins and mistakes shall be wiped away, and you shall be rid of egotism and pride. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਕਮਲੁ ਵਿਗਸਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਆਤਮ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਛਾਨੁ ॥ guramukh kamal vigasiaa sabh aatam braham pachhaan | The heart-lotus of the Gurmukh blossoms forth, recognizing God within every soul. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ॥੧॥ har har kirapaa dhaar prabh jan naanak jap har naam |1| O Lord God, please shower Your Mercy upon servant Nanak, that he may chant the Lord’s Name. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਵਿਤੁ ਹੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥ har har naam pavit hai naam japat dukh jaae | The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is Sacred and Immaculate. Chanting the Naam, pain is dispelled. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਪੂਰਬਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਆਇ ॥ jin kau poorab likhiaa tin man vasiaa aae | God comes to abide in the minds of those who have such pre-ordained destiny. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਜੋ ਚਲੈ ਤਿਨ ਦਾਲਦੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਇ ॥ satigur kai bhaanai jo chalai tin daalad dukh leh jaae | Those who walk in harmony with the Will of the True Guru are rid of pain and poverty. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਆਪਣੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਕਿਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਇਓ ਜਨ ਵੇਖਹੁ ਮਨਿ ਪਤੀਆਇ ॥ aapanai bhaanai kinai na paaeo jan vekhahu man pateeae | No one finds the Lord by his own will; see this, and satisfy your mind. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਸਨ ਦਾਸੁ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਲਾਗੇ ਪਾਇ ॥੨॥ jan naanak daasan daas hai jo satigur laage paae |2| Servant Nanak is the slave of the slave of those who fall at the Feet of the True Guru. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
