ਸੇਵੀਲੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਰਾਇ ਅਕੁਲ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ॥ seveele gopaal raae akul niranjan | Serve the King, the Sovereign Lord of the World. He has no ancestry; He is immaculate and pure. - Bhagat Namdev Ji

ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਦਿਗ ਦਿਸੈ ਸਰਾਇਚਾ ਬੈਕੁੰਠ ਭਵਨ ਚਿਤ੍ਰਸਾਲਾ ਸਪਤ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਮਾਨਿ ਪੂਰੀਅਲੇ ॥ jaan chai ghar dig disai saraaeichaa baikuntth bhavan chitrasaalaa sapat lok saamaan pooreeale | His Home is the pavilion seen in all directions; His ornamental heavenly realms fill the seven worlds alike. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਲਛਿਮੀ ਕੁਆਰੀ ਚੰਦੁ ਸੂਰਜੁ ਦੀਵੜੇ ਕਉਤਕੁ ਕਾਲੁ ਬਪੁੜਾ ਕੋਟਵਾਲੁ ਸੁ ਕਰਾ ਸਿਰੀ ॥ jaan chai ghar lachhimee kuaaree chand sooraj deevarre kautak kaal bapurraa kottavaal su karaa siree | In His Home, the virgin Lakshmi dwells. The moon and the sun are His two lamps; the wretched Messenger of Death stages his dramas, and levies taxes on all. - Bhagat Namdev Ji

ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਕੁਲਾਲੁ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਚਤੁਰ ਮੁਖੁ ਡਾਂਵੜਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਬਿਸ੍ਵ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਰਾਚੀਲੇ ॥ jaan chai ghar kulaal brahamaa chatur mukh ddaanvarraa jin bisv sansaar raacheele | In His House, the four-faced Brahma, the cosmic potter lives. He created the entire universe. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਜਾਂ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਈਸਰੁ ਬਾਵਲਾ ਜਗਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਤਤ ਸਾਰਖਾ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਭਾਖੀਲੇ ॥ jaan kai ghar eesar baavalaa jagat guroo tat saarakhaa giaan bhaakheele | In His House, the insane Shiva, the Guru of the World, lives; he imparts spiritual wisdom to expain the essence of reality. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਡਾਂਗੀਆ ਦੁਆਰੈ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਲੇਖੀਆ ॥ paap pun jaan chai ddaangeea duaarai chitr gupat lekheea | Sin and virtue are the standard-bearers at His Door; Chitr and Gupt are the recording angels of the conscious and subconscious. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਧਰਮ ਰਾਇ ਪਰੁਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਹਾਰੁ ॥ dharam raae parulee pratihaar | The Righteous Judge of Dharma, the Lord of Destruction, is the door-man. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸੋੁ ਐਸਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੋਪਾਲੁ ॥੨॥ suo aisaa raajaa sree gopaal |2| Such is the Supreme Sovereign Lord of the World. ||2|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਗਣ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਰਿਖੀ ਬਪੁੜੇ ਢਾਢੀਆ ਗਾਵੰਤ ਆਛੈ ॥ jaan chai ghar gan gandharab rikhee bapurre dtaadteea gaavant aachhai | In His Home are the heavenly heralds, celestial singers, Rishis and poor minstrels, who sing so sweetly. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸਰਬ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਹੁ ਰੂਪੀਆ ਅਨਗਰੂਆ ਆਖਾੜਾ ਮੰਡਲੀਕ ਬੋਲ ਬੋਲਹਿ ਕਾਛੇ ॥ sarab saasatr bahu roopeea anagarooaa aakhaarraa manddaleek bol boleh kaachhe | All the Shaastras take various forms in His theater, singing beautiful songs. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਚਉਰ ਢੂਲ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਹੈ ਪਵਣੁ ॥ chaur dtool jaan chai hai pavan | The wind waves the fly-brush over Him; - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਚੇਰੀ ਸਕਤਿ ਜੀਤਿ ਲੇ ਭਵਣੁ ॥ cheree sakat jeet le bhavan | His hand-maiden is Maya, who has conquered the world. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਅੰਡ ਟੂਕ ਜਾ ਚੈ ਭਸਮਤੀ ॥ andd ttook jaa chai bhasamatee | The shell of the earth is His fireplace. - Bhagat Namdev Ji

ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਕੂਰਮਾ ਪਾਲੁ ਸਹਸ੍ਰ ਫਨੀ ਬਾਸਕੁ ਸੇਜ ਵਾਲੂਆ ॥ jaan chai ghar kooramaa paal sahasr fanee baasak sej vaalooaa | In His Home, the celestial turtle is the bed-frame, woven with the strings of the thousand-headed snake. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਅਠਾਰਹ ਭਾਰ ਬਨਾਸਪਤੀ ਮਾਲਣੀ ਛਿਨਵੈ ਕਰੋੜੀ ਮੇਘ ਮਾਲਾ ਪਾਣੀਹਾਰੀਆ ॥ atthaarah bhaar banaasapatee maalanee chhinavai karorree megh maalaa paaneehaareea | His flower-girls are the eighteen loads of vegetation; His water-carriers are the nine hundred sixty million clouds. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਨਖ ਪ੍ਰਸੇਵ ਜਾ ਚੈ ਸੁਰਸਰੀ ॥ nakh prasev jaa chai surasaree | His sweat is the Ganges River. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸਪਤ ਸਮੁੰਦ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘੜਥਲੀ ॥ sapat samund jaan chai gharrathalee | The seven seas are His water-pitchers. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਏਤੇ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਵਰਤਣੀ ॥ ete jeea jaan chai varatanee | The creatures of the world are His household utensils. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸੋੁ ਐਸਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਧਣੀ ॥੪॥ suo aisaa raajaa tribhavan dhanee |4| Such is the Sovereign Lord King of the three worlds. ||4|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਘਰਿ ਨਿਕਟ ਵਰਤੀ ਅਰਜਨੁ ਧ੍ਰੂ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦੁ ਅੰਬਰੀਕੁ ਨਾਰਦੁ ਨੇਜੈ ਸਿਧ ਬੁਧ ਗਣ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਬਾਨਵੈ ਹੇਲਾ ॥ jaan chai ghar nikatt varatee arajan dhraoo prahalaad anbareek naarad nejai sidh budh gan gandharab baanavai helaa | In His home are Arjuna, Dhroo, Prahlaad, Ambreek, Naarad, Nayjaa, the Siddhas and Buddhas, the ninety-two heavenly heralds and celestial singers in their wondrous play. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਏਤੇ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਂ ਚੈ ਹਹਿ ਘਰੀ ॥ ete jeea jaan chai heh gharee | All the creatures of the world are in His House. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸਰਬ ਬਿਆਪਿਕ ਅੰਤਰ ਹਰੀ ॥ sarab biaapik antar haree | The Lord is diffused in the inner beings of all. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਪ੍ਰਣਵੈ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਤਾਂ ਚੀ ਆਣਿ ॥ pranavai naamadeo taan chee aan | Prays Naam Dayv, seek His Protection. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸਗਲ ਭਗਤ ਜਾ ਚੈ ਨੀਸਾਣਿ ॥੫॥੧॥ sagal bhagat jaa chai neesaan |5|1| All the devotees are His banner and insignia. ||5||1|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji

ਆਲਾਵੰਤੀ ਇਹੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਜੋ ਹੈ ਮੁਝ ਊਪਰਿ ਸਭ ਕੋਪਿਲਾ ॥ aalaavantee ihu bhram jo hai mujh aoopar sabh kopilaa | The temple priests have doubts about this, and everyone is furious with me. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸੂਦੁ ਸੂਦੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਰਿ ਉਠਾਇਓ ਕਹਾ ਕਰਉ ਬਾਪ ਬੀਠੁਲਾ ॥੧॥ sood sood kar maar utthaaeo kahaa krau baap beetthulaa |1| Calling me low-caste and untouchable, they beat me and drove me out; what should I do now, O Beloved Father Lord? ||1|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਮੂਏ ਹੂਏ ਜਉ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਦੇਹੁਗੇ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ਕੋਇਲਾ ॥ mooe hooe jau mukat dehuge mukat na jaanai koeilaa | If You liberate me after I am dead, no one will know that I am liberated. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਏ ਪੰਡੀਆ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਢੇਢ ਕਹਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਪੈਜ ਪਿਛੰਉਡੀ ਹੋਇਲਾ ॥੨॥ e panddeea mo kau dtedt kehat teree paij pichhnauddee hoeilaa |2| These Pandits, these religious scholars, call me low-born; when they say this, they tarnish Your honor as well. ||2|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਤੂ ਜੁ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਕਹੀਅਤੁ ਹੈਂ ਅਤਿਭੁਜ ਭਇਓ ਅਪਾਰਲਾ ॥ too ju deaal kripaal kaheeat hain atibhuj bheo apaaralaa | You are called kind and compassionate; the power of Your Arm is absolutely unrivalled. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
