ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਬੋਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ jap man govind har govind gunee nidhaan sabh srisatt kaa prabho mere man har bol har purakh abinaasee |1| rahaau | O my mind, meditate on the Lord of the Universe, the Lord, the Lord of the Universe, the Treasure of Virtue, the God of all creation. ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਸੋ ਪੀਐ ਜਿਸੁ ਰਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਸੀ ॥ har kaa naam amrit har har hare so peeai jis raam piaasee | The Name of the Lord is the Ambrosial Nectar, Har, Har, Har. He alone drinks it in, whom the Lord inspires to drink it. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਮੇਲੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਖਾਸੀ ॥੧॥ har aap deaal deaa kar melai jis satiguroo so jan har har amrit naam chakhaasee |1| The Merciful Lord Himself bestows His Mercy, and He leads the mortal to meet with the True Guru. That humble being tastes the Ambrosial Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜੋ ਜਨ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸਦ ਸਦਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਸਭੁ ਦੂਖੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਜਾਸੀ ॥ jo jan seveh sad sadaa meraa har hare tin kaa sabh dookh bharam bhau jaasee | Those who serve my Lord, forever and ever - all their pain, doubt and fear are taken away. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਲਏ ਤਾਂ ਜੀਵੈ ਜਿਉ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕੁ ਜਲਿ ਪੀਐ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੀ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੨॥ jan naanak naam le taan jeevai jiau chaatrik jal peeai tripataasee |2|5|12| Servant Nanak chants the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and so he lives, like the song-bird, which is satisfied only by drinking in the water. ||2||5||12|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਰਾਮ ਰਮਤ ਰਾਮੁ ॥ raam ramat raam | The Lord, the Lord is All-pervading. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਰਾਮੁ ॥ sat sat raam | True, True is the Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਬੋਲਹੁ ਭਈਆ ਸਦ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਰਬਗੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ bolahu bheea sad raam raam raam rav rahiaa sarabage |1| rahaau | O Siblings of Destiny, chant the Name of the Lord, Raam, Raam, Raam, forever. He is All-pervading everywhere. ||1||Pause|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਰਾਮੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਆਪੇ ਸਭੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਰਾਮੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਆਪਿ ਸਭਤੁ ਜਗੇ ॥ raam aape aap aape sabh karataa raam aape aap aap sabhat jage | The Lord Himself is Himself the Creator of all. The Lord Himself is Himself pervading the whole world. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਸੁ ਆਪਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੇ ॥੧॥ jis aap kripaa kare meraa raam raam raam raae so jan raam naam liv laage |1| That person, upon whom my Sovereign Lord King, Raam, Raam, Raam, bestows His Mercy - that person is lovingly attuned to the Lord’s Name. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਦੇਖਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਜੋ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਕੀ ਪਤਿ ਰਾਖੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਅਗੇ ॥ raam naam kee upamaa dekhahu har santahu jo bhagat janaan kee pat raakhai vich kalijug age | O Saints of the Lord, behold the Glory of the Name of the Lord; His Name saves the honor of His humble devotees in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾ ਅੰਗੁ ਕੀਆ ਮੇਰੈ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਦੁਸਮਨ ਦੂਖ ਗਏ ਸਭਿ ਭਗੇ ॥੨॥੬॥੧੩॥ jan naanak kaa ang keea merai raam raae dusaman dookh ge sabh bhage |2|6|13| My Sovereign Lord King has taken servant Nanak’s side; his enemies and attackers have all run away. ||2||6||13|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥ satigur moorat kau bal jaau | I am a sacrifice to the Image of the True Guru. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪਿਆਸ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਜਿਉ ਜਲ ਕੀ ਸਫਲ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਕਦਿ ਪਾਂਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ antar piaas chaatrik jiau jal kee safal darasan kad paanau |1| rahaau | My inner being is filled with a great thirst, like that of the song-bird for water. When shall I find the Fruitful Vision of His Darshan? ||1||Pause|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਅਨਾਥਾ ਕੋ ਨਾਥੁ ਸਰਬ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਕੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਉ ॥ anaathaa ko naath sarab pratipaalak bhagat vachhal har naau | He is the Master of the masterless, the Cherisher of all. He is the Lover of the devotees of His Name. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਰਾਖੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਤੂ ਦੇਹਿ ਅਸਰਾਉ ॥੧॥ jaa kau koe na raakhai praanee tis too dehi asaraau |1| That mortal, whom no one can protect - You bless him with Your Support, O Lord. ||1|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਨਿਧਰਿਆ ਧਰ ਨਿਗਤਿਆ ਗਤਿ ਨਿਥਾਵਿਆ ਤੂ ਥਾਉ ॥ nidhariaa dhar nigatiaa gat nithaaviaa too thaau | Support of the unsupported, Saving Grace of the unsaved, Home of the homeless. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਦਹ ਦਿਸ ਜਾਂਉ ਤਹਾਂ ਤੂ ਸੰਗੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਉ ॥੨॥ deh dis jaanau tahaan too sange teree keerat karam kamaau |2| Wherever I go in the ten directions, You are there with me. The only thing I do is sing the Kirtan of Your Praises. ||2|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਏਕਸੁ ਤੇ ਲਾਖ ਲਾਖ ਤੇ ਏਕਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਕਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਾਉ ॥ ekas te laakh laakh te ekaa teree gat mit keh na sakaau | From Your Oneness, You become tens of thousands, and from tens of thousands, You become One. I cannot describe Your state and extent. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਤੂ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਿਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਈਐ ਸਭੁ ਤੇਰੋ ਖੇਲੁ ਦਿਖਾਉ ॥੩॥ too beant teree mit nahee paaeeai sabh tero khel dikhaau |3| You are Infinite - Your value cannot be appraised. Everything I see is Your play. ||3|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਸਾਧਨ ਕਾ ਸੰਗੁ ਸਾਧ ਸਿਉ ਗੋਸਟਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਧਨ ਸਿਉ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਉ ॥ saadhan kaa sang saadh siau gosatt har saadhan siau liv laau | I speak with the Company of the Holy; I am in love with the Holy people of the Lord. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਦਰਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਚਾਉ ॥੪॥੧॥ jan naanak paaeaa hai guramat har dehu daras man chaau |4|1| Servant Nanak has found the Lord through the Guru’s Teachings; please bless me with Your Blessed Vision; O Lord, my mind yearns for it. ||4||1|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji

ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਜਾਨ ॥ har jeeo antarajaamee jaan | The Dear Lord is the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਕਰਤ ਬੁਰਾਈ ਮਾਨੁਖ ਤੇ ਛਪਾਈ ਸਾਖੀ ਭੂਤ ਪਵਾਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ karat buraaee maanukh te chhapaaee saakhee bhoot pavaan |1| rahaau | The mortal does evil deeds, and hides from others, but like the air, the Lord is present everywhere. ||1||Pause|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਬੈਸਨੌ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤ ਖਟ ਕਰਮਾ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲੋਭ ਜੂਠਾਨ ॥ baisanau naam karat khatt karamaa antar lobh jootthaan | You call yourself a devotee of Vishnu and you practice the six rituals, but your inner being is polluted with greed. - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
ਸੰਤ ਸਭਾ ਕੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਤੇ ਡੂਬੇ ਸਭ ਅਗਿਆਨ ॥੧॥ sant sabhaa kee nindaa karate ddoobe sabh agiaan |1| Those who slander the Society of the Saints, shall all be drowned in their ignorance. ||1|| - Guru Arjan Dev Ji
