ਹਰਿ ਤੁਮ ਵਡ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਭਿ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੁੜਣੇ ॥ har tum vadd agam agochar suaamee sabh dhiaaveh har rurrane | O my Lord and Master, You are great, inaccessible and unfathomable; all meditate on You, O Beautiful Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਤੁਮੑਰੇ ਵਡ ਕਟਾਖ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਣੇ ॥੧॥ jin kau tumare vadd kattaakh hai te guramukh har simarane |1| Those whom You view with Your Great Eye of Grace, meditate on You, Lord, and become Gurmukh. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਇਹੁ ਪਰਪੰਚੁ ਕੀਆ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਭੁ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਜੁਗਣੇ ॥ eihu parapanch keea prabh suaamee sabh jagajeevan jugane | The expanse of this creation is Your work, O God, my Lord and Master, Life of the entire universe, united with all. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਉ ਸਲਲੈ ਸਲਲ ਉਠਹਿ ਬਹੁ ਲਹਰੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਲਲੈ ਸਲਲ ਸਮਣੇ ॥੨॥ jiau salalai salal uttheh bahu laharee mil salalai salal samane |2| Countless waves rise up from the water, and then they merge into the water again. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀਆ ਸੁ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਹਮ ਨਹ ਜਾਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਗਹਣੇ ॥ jo prabh keea su tum hee jaanahu ham neh jaanee har gahane | You alone, God, know whatever You do. O Lord, I do not know. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਮ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਕਉ ਰਿਦ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਧਾਰਹੁ ਹਮ ਕਰਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਿਮਰਣੇ ॥੩॥ ham baarik kau rid usatat dhaarahu ham karah prabhoo simarane |3| I am Your child; please enshrine Your Praises within my heart, God, so that I may remember You in meditation. ||3|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤੁਮ ਜਲ ਨਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਨ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਜੋ ਸੇਵੈ ਸਭ ਫਲਣੇ ॥ tum jal nidh har maan sarovar jo sevai sabh falane | You are the treasure of water, O Lord, the Maansarovar Lake. Whoever serves You receives all fruitful rewards. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਂਛੈ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਕਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਣੇ ॥੪॥੬॥ jan naanak har har har har baanchhai har devahu kar kripane |4|6| Servant Nanak longs for the Lord, Har, Har, Har, Har; bless him, Lord, with Your Mercy. ||4||6|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਸੇਵ ਸਫਲ ਹਰਿ ਘਾਲ ॥ mere man sev safal har ghaal | O my mind, serve the Lord, and receive the fruits of your rewards. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਲੇ ਗੁਰ ਪਗ ਰੇਨ ਰਵਾਲ ॥ le gur pag ren ravaal | Receive the dust of the Guru’s feet. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਭਿ ਦਾਲਿਦ ਭੰਜਿ ਦੁਖ ਦਾਲ ॥ sabh daalid bhanj dukh daal | All poverty will be eliminated, and your pains will disappear. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਹੋ ਹੋ ਹੋ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ har ho ho ho nadar nihaal |1| rahaau | The Lord shall bless you with His Glance of Grace, and you shall be enraptured. ||1||Pause|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਗ੍ਰਿਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਸਵਾਰਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗ ਮਹਲ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਲਾਲ ਲਾਲ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਲ ॥ har kaa grihu har aap savaario har rang rang mehal beant laal laal har laal | The Lord Himself embellishes His household. The Lord’s Mansion of Love is studded with countless jewels, the jewels of the Beloved Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਆਪਨੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਆਪਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਆਇਓ ਹਮ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਗੁਰ ਕੀਈ ਹੈ ਬਸੀਠੀ ਹਮ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਖੇ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੧॥ har aapanee kripaa karee aap grihi aaeo ham har kee gur keeee hai baseetthee ham har dekhe bhee nihaal nihaal nihaal nihaal |1| The Lord Himself has granted His Grace, and He has come into my home.The Guru is my advocate before the Lord. Gazing upon the Lord, I have become blissful, blissful, blissful. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਆਵਤੇ ਕੀ ਖਬਰਿ ਗੁਰਿ ਪਾਈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਆਨਦੋ ਆਨੰਦ ਭਏ ਹਰਿ ਆਵਤੇ ਸੁਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਾਲ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਲ ॥ har aavate kee khabar gur paaee man tan aanado aanand bhe har aavate sune mere laal har laal | From the Guru, I received news of the Lord’s arrival. My mind and body became ecstatic and blissful, hearing of the arrival of the Lord, my Beloved Love, my Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲੇ ਭਏ ਗਲਤਾਨ ਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥ jan naanak har har mile bhe galataan haal nihaal nihaal |2|1|7| Servant Nanak has met with the Lord, Har, Har; he is intoxicated, enraptured, enraptured. ||2||1||7|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਮਨ ਮਿਲੁ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਸੁਭਵੰਤੀ ॥ man mil santasangat subhavantee | O mind, join the Society of the Saints, and become noble and exalted. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸੁਨਿ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਖਵੰਤੀ ॥ sun akath kathaa sukhavantee | Listen to the Unspoken Speech of the peace-giving Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਭ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਪਾਪ ਲਹੰਤੀ ॥ sabh kilabikh paap lahantee | All sins will be washed away. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਹੋ ਹੋ ਹੋ ਲਿਖਤੁ ਲਿਖੰਤੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ har ho ho ho likhat likhantee |1| rahaau | Meet with the Lord, according to your pre-ordained destiny. ||1||Pause|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਕਲਜੁਗ ਵਿਚਿ ਊਤਮ ਮਤਿ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਕਥਾ ਭਜੰਤੀ ॥ har keerat kalajug vich aootam mat guramat kathaa bhajantee | In this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, the Kirtan of the Lord’s Praise is lofty and exalted. Following the Guru’s Teachings, the intellect dwells on the sermon of the Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨਿ ਜਨਿ ਸੁਣੀ ਮਨੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਜਨਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੈ ਹਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੰਤੀ ॥੧॥ jin jan sunee manee hai jin jan tis jan kai hau kurabaanantee |1| I am a sacrifice to that person who listens and believes. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਕਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਰਸੁ ਚਾਖਿਆ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਸਭ ਭੂਖ ਲਹੰਤੀ ॥ har akath kathaa kaa jin ras chaakhiaa tis jan sabh bhookh lahantee | One who tastes the sublime essence of the Unspoken Speech of the Lord - all his hunger is satisfied. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੇ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹੋਵੰਤੀ ॥੨॥੨॥੮॥ naanak jan har kathaa sun tripate jap har har har hovantee |2|2|8| Servant Nanak listens to the sermon of the Lord, and is satisfied; chanting the Lord’s Name, Har, Har, Har, he has become like the Lord. ||2||2||8|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਕੋਈ ਆਨਿ ਸੁਨਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਹਰਿ ਗਾਲ ॥ koee aan sunaavai har kee har gaal | If only someone would come and tell me the Lord’s sermon. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤਿਸ ਕਉ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਾਲ ॥ tis kau hau bal bal baal | I would be a sacrifice, a sacrifice, a sacrifice to him. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਜਨੁ ਹੈ ਭਲ ਭਾਲ ॥ so har jan hai bhal bhaal | That humble servant of the Lord is the best of the best. - Guru Ramdas Ji
