ਗੋਂਡ ॥ gondd | Gond: - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਧੰਨੁ ਗੁਪਾਲ ਧੰਨੁ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ॥ dhan gupaal dhan guradev | Blessed is the Lord of the World. Blessed is the Divine Guru. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਧੰਨੁ ਅਨਾਦਿ ਭੂਖੇ ਕਵਲੁ ਟਹਕੇਵ ॥ dhan anaad bhookhe kaval ttahakev | Blessed is that grain, by which the heart-lotus of the hungry blossoms forth. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਧਨੁ ਓਇ ਸੰਤ ਜਿਨ ਐਸੀ ਜਾਨੀ ॥ dhan oe sant jin aisee jaanee | Blessed are those Saints, who know this. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਮਿਲਿਬੋ ਸਾਰਿੰਗਪਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ tin kau milibo saaringapaanee |1| Meeting with them, one meets the Lord, the Sustainer of the World. ||1|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਤੇ ਹੋਇ ਅਨਾਦਿ ॥ aad purakh te hoe anaad | This grain comes from the Primal Lord God. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਜਪੀਐ ਨਾਮੁ ਅੰਨ ਕੈ ਸਾਦਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ japeeai naam an kai saad |1| rahaau | One chants the Naam, the Name of the Lord, only when he tastes this grain. ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਜਪੀਐ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੀਐ ਅੰਨੁ ॥ japeeai naam japeeai an | Meditate on the Naam, and meditate on this grain. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਅੰਭੈ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨੀਕਾ ਵੰਨੁ ॥ anbhai kai sang neekaa van | Mixed with water, its taste becomes sublime. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਅੰਨੈ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਜੋ ਨਰ ਹੋਵਹਿ ॥ anai baahar jo nar hoveh | One who abstains from this grain, - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਤੀਨਿ ਭਵਨ ਮਹਿ ਅਪਨੀ ਖੋਵਹਿ ॥੨॥ teen bhavan meh apanee khoveh |2| loses his honor in the three worlds. ||2|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਛੋਡਹਿ ਅੰਨੁ ਕਰਹਿ ਪਾਖੰਡ ॥ chhoddeh an kareh paakhandd | One who discards this grain, is practicing hypocrisy. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਨਾ ਸੋਹਾਗਨਿ ਨਾ ਓਹਿ ਰੰਡ ॥ naa sohaagan naa ohi randd | She is neither a happy soul-bride, nor a widow. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਬਕਤੇ ਦੂਧਾਧਾਰੀ ॥ jag meh bakate doodhaadhaaree | Those who claim in this world that they live on milk alone, - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਗੁਪਤੀ ਖਾਵਹਿ ਵਟਿਕਾ ਸਾਰੀ ॥੩॥ gupatee khaaveh vattikaa saaree |3| secretly eat whole loads of food. ||3|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਅੰਨੈ ਬਿਨਾ ਨ ਹੋਇ ਸੁਕਾਲੁ ॥ anai binaa na hoe sukaal | Without this grain, time does not pass in peace. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਤਜਿਐ ਅੰਨਿ ਨ ਮਿਲੈ ਗੁਪਾਲੁ ॥ tajiai an na milai gupaal | Forsaking this grain, one does not meet the Lord of the World. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਹਮ ਐਸੇ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥ kahu kabeer ham aise jaaniaa | Says Kabeer, this I know: - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਧੰਨੁ ਅਨਾਦਿ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥੪॥੮॥੧੧॥ dhan anaad tthaakur man maaniaa |4|8|11| blessed is that grain, which brings faith in the Lord and Master to the mind. ||4||8||11|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ik oankaar satigur prasaad | One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਅਸੁਮੇਧ ਜਗਨੇ ॥ asumedh jagane | The ritual sacrifice of horses, - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਤੁਲਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾਨੇ ॥ tulaa purakh daane | giving one’s weight in gold to charities, - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਪ੍ਰਾਗ ਇਸਨਾਨੇ ॥੧॥ praag isanaane |1| and ceremonial cleansing baths -||1|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਤਉ ਨ ਪੁਜਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਨਾਮਾ ॥ tau na pujeh har keerat naamaa | These are not equal to singing the Praises of the Lord’s Name. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਅਪੁਨੇ ਰਾਮਹਿ ਭਜੁ ਰੇ ਮਨ ਆਲਸੀਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ apune raameh bhaj re man aalaseea |1| rahaau | Meditate on your Lord, you lazy man! ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਗਇਆ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਭਰਤਾ ॥ geaa pindd bharataa | Offering sweet rice at Gaya, - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਬਨਾਰਸਿ ਅਸਿ ਬਸਤਾ ॥ banaaras as basataa | living on the river banks at Benares, - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਮੁਖਿ ਬੇਦ ਚਤੁਰ ਪੜਤਾ ॥੨॥ mukh bed chatur parrataa |2| reciting the four Vedas by heart;||2|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸਗਲ ਧਰਮ ਅਛਿਤਾ ॥ sagal dharam achhitaa | Completing all religious rituals, - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਇੰਦ੍ਰੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਤਾ ॥ gur giaan indree drirrataa | restraining sexual passion by the spiritual wisdom given by the Guru, - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਖਟੁ ਕਰਮ ਸਹਿਤ ਰਹਤਾ ॥੩॥ khatt karam sahit rahataa |3| and performing the six rituals;||3|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸਿਵਾ ਸਕਤਿ ਸੰਬਾਦੰ ॥ sivaa sakat sanbaadan | Expounding on Shiva and Shakti - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਮਨ ਛੋਡਿ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਗਲ ਭੇਦੰ ॥ man chhodd chhodd sagal bhedan | O man, renounce and abandon all these things. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੰ ॥ simar simar gobindan | Meditate, meditate in remembrance on the Lord of the Universe. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਭਜੁ ਨਾਮਾ ਤਰਸਿ ਭਵ ਸਿੰਧੰ ॥੪॥੧॥ bhaj naamaa taras bhav sindhan |4|1| Meditate, O Naam Dayv, and cross over the terrifying world-ocean. ||4||1|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji

ਨਾਦ ਭ੍ਰਮੇ ਜੈਸੇ ਮਿਰਗਾਏ ॥ naad bhrame jaise miragaae | The deer is lured by the sound of the hunter’s bell; - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਤਜੇ ਵਾ ਕੋ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਨ ਜਾਏ ॥੧॥ praan taje vaa ko dhiaan na jaae |1| it loses its life, but it cannot stop thinking about it. ||1|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਐਸੇ ਰਾਮਾ ਐਸੇ ਹੇਰਉ ॥ aise raamaa aise herau | In the same way, I look upon my Lord. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਰਾਮੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਅਨਤ ਨ ਫੇਰਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ raam chhodd chit anat na ferau |1| rahaau | I will not abandon my Lord, and turn my thoughts to another. ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਜਿਉ ਮੀਨਾ ਹੇਰੈ ਪਸੂਆਰਾ ॥ jiau meenaa herai pasooaaraa | As the fisherman looks upon the fish, - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਸੋਨਾ ਗਢਤੇ ਹਿਰੈ ਸੁਨਾਰਾ ॥੨॥ sonaa gadtate hirai sunaaraa |2| and the goldsmith looks upon the gold he fashions;||2|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਜਿਉ ਬਿਖਈ ਹੇਰੈ ਪਰ ਨਾਰੀ ॥ jiau bikhee herai par naaree | As the man driven by sex looks upon another man’s wife, - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਕਉਡਾ ਡਾਰਤ ਹਿਰੈ ਜੁਆਰੀ ॥੩॥ kauddaa ddaarat hirai juaaree |3| and the gambler looks upon the throwing of the dice -||3|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਜਹ ਜਹ ਦੇਖਉ ਤਹ ਤਹ ਰਾਮਾ ॥ jeh jeh dekhau teh teh raamaa | In the same way, wherever Naam Dayv looks, he sees the Lord. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਨਿਤ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਨਾਮਾ ॥੪॥੨॥ har ke charan nit dhiaavai naamaa |4|2| Naam Dayv meditates continuously on the Feet of the Lord. ||4||2|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji

ਮੋ ਕਉ ਤਾਰਿ ਲੇ ਰਾਮਾ ਤਾਰਿ ਲੇ ॥ mo kau taar le raamaa taar le | Carry me across, O Lord, carry me across. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਮੈ ਅਜਾਨੁ ਜਨੁ ਤਰਿਬੇ ਨ ਜਾਨਉ ਬਾਪ ਬੀਠੁਲਾ ਬਾਹ ਦੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ mai ajaan jan taribe na jaanau baap beetthulaa baah de |1| rahaau | I am ignorant, and I do not know how to swim. O my Beloved Father, please give me Your arm. ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਨਰ ਤੇ ਸੁਰ ਹੋਇ ਜਾਤ ਨਿਮਖ ਮੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬੁਧਿ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ॥ nar te sur hoe jaat nimakh mai satigur budh sikhalaaee | I have been transformed from a mortal being into an angel, in an instant; the True Guru has taught me this. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਨਰ ਤੇ ਉਪਜਿ ਸੁਰਗ ਕਉ ਜੀਤਿਓ ਸੋ ਅਵਖਧ ਮੈ ਪਾਈ ॥੧॥ nar te upaj surag kau jeetio so avakhadh mai paaee |1| Born of human flesh, I have conquered the heavens; such is the medicine I was given. ||1|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਜਹਾ ਜਹਾ ਧੂਅ ਨਾਰਦੁ ਟੇਕੇ ਨੈਕੁ ਟਿਕਾਵਹੁ ਮੋਹਿ ॥ jahaa jahaa dhooa naarad tteke naik ttikaavahu mohi | Please place me where You placed Dhroo and Naarad, O my Master. - Bhagat Namdev Ji
ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਅਵਿਲੰਬਿ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਜਨ ਉਧਰੇ ਨਾਮੇ ਕੀ ਨਿਜ ਮਤਿ ਏਹ ॥੨॥੩॥ tere naam avilanb bahut jan udhare naame kee nij mat eh |2|3| With the Support of Your Name, so many have been saved; this is Naam Dayv’s understanding. ||2||3|| - Bhagat Namdev Ji
