ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅਗਮ ਅਗਾਧਿ ਬੋਧਿ ਅਪਰੰਪਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਅਪਾਰੀ ॥ har har agam agaadh bodh aparanpar purakh apaaree | The Lord, Har, Har, is unapproachable, of unfathomable wisdom, unlimited, all-powerful and infinite. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨ ਕਉ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹੁ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੪॥੧॥ jan kau kripaa karahu jagajeevan jan naanak paij savaaree |4|1| Show Mercy to Your humble servant, O Life of the world, and save the honor of servant Nanak. ||4||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਦੂਖੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਭਾਗੀ ॥ har ke sant janaa har japio tin kaa dookh bharam bhau bhaagee | The humble Saints of the Lord meditate on the Lord; their pain, doubt and fear have run away. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਅਪਨੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਜਾਗੀ ॥੧॥ apanee sevaa aap karaaee guramat antar jaagee |1| The Lord Himself inspires them to serve Him; they are awakened within to the Guru’s Teachings. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤਾ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ॥ har kai naam rataa bairaagee | Imbued with the Lord’s Name, they are unattached to the world. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣੀ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ har har kathaa sunee man bhaaee guramat har liv laagee |1| rahaau | Listening to the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, their minds are pleased; through Guru’s Instruction, they enshrine love for the Lord. ||1||Pause|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੁਮੑ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਹਮ ਸਾਂਗੀ ॥ sant janaa kee jaat har suaamee tuma tthaakur ham saangee | God, the Lord and Master, is the caste and social status of His humble Saints. You are the Lord and Master; I am just Your puppet. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜੈਸੀ ਮਤਿ ਦੇਵਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਤੈਸੇ ਬੁਲਗ ਬੁਲਾਗੀ ॥੨॥ jaisee mat devahu har suaamee ham taise bulag bulaagee |2| As is the understanding You bless us with, so are the words we speak. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਕਿਆ ਹਮ ਕਿਰਮ ਨਾਨੑ ਨਿਕ ਕੀਰੇ ਤੁਮੑ ਵਡ ਪੁਰਖ ਵਡਾਗੀ ॥ kiaa ham kiram naana nik keere tuma vadd purakh vaddaagee | What are we? Tiny worms, and microscopic germs. You are our great and glorious Lord and Master. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤੁਮੑਰੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਕਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਹ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਮ ਕਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਮਿਲਹ ਅਭਾਗੀ ॥੩॥ tumaree gat mit keh na sakah prabh ham kiau kar milah abhaagee |3| I cannot describe Your state and extent. O God, how can we unfortunate ones meet with You? ||3|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਹੁ ਹਮ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਗੀ ॥ har prabh suaamee kirapaa dhaarahu ham har har sevaa laagee | O God, my Lord and Master, shower me with Your Mercy, and commit me to Your service. - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਸੰਤੁ ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਸਤ ਪੁਰਖਾ ਜੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਨੀ ॥ har kaa sant satagur sat purakhaa jo bolai har har baanee | The True Guru is the Lord’s Saint, the True Being, who chants the Bani of the Lord, Har, Har. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਣੈ ਸੋ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਹਮ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ jo jo kahai sunai so mukataa ham tis kai sad kurabaanee |1| Whoever chants it, and listens to it, is liberated; I am forever a sacrifice to him. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਇਕ ਨਿਮਖ ਪਲ ਸਭਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਪਾਪ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ har har kathaa sunahu ik nimakh pal sabh kilavikh paap leh jaanee |1| rahaau | Listen to the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, for a moment, for even an instant, and all your sins and mistakes shall be erased. ||1||Pause|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਐਸਾ ਸੰਤੁ ਸਾਧੁ ਜਿਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਵਡ ਪੁਰਖ ਵਡਾਨੀ ॥ aisaa sant saadh jin paaeaa te vadd purakh vaddaanee | Those who find such humble, Holy Saints, are the greatest of the great persons. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਮੰਗਹ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਹਰਿ ਲੋਚ ਲੁਚਾਨੀ ॥੨॥ tin kee dhoor mangah prabh suaamee ham har loch luchaanee |2| I beg for the dust of their feet; I long for the longing for God, my Lord and Master. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਫਲਿਓ ਬਿਰਖੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਿਨ ਜਪਿਓ ਸੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਨੀ ॥ har har safalio birakh prabh suaamee jin japio se tripataanee | The Name of God, the Lord and Master, Har, Har, is the fruit-bearing tree; those who meditate on it are satisfied. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੇ ਸਭ ਲਾਥੀ ਭੂਖ ਭੁਖਾਨੀ ॥੩॥ har har amrit pee tripataase sabh laathee bhookh bhukhaanee |3| Drinking in the ambrosia of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I am satisfied; all my hunger and thirst is quenched. ||3|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਵਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਵਡ ਊਚੇ ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਜਪਾਨੀ ॥ jin ke vadde bhaag vadd aooche tin har japio japaanee | Those who are blessed with the highest, loftiest destiny, chant and meditate on the Lord. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਦਸਾਨੀ ॥੪॥੩॥ tin har sangat mel prabh suaamee jan naanak daas dasaanee |4|3| Let me join their congregation, O God, my Lord and Master; Nanak is the slave of their slaves. ||4||3|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਹਮ ਅੰਧੁਲੇ ਅੰਧ ਬਿਖੈ ਬਿਖੁ ਰਾਤੇ ਕਿਉ ਚਾਲਹ ਗੁਰ ਚਾਲੀ ॥ ham andhule andh bikhai bikh raate kiau chaalah gur chaalee | I am blind, totally blind, entangled in corruption and poison. How can I walk on the Guru’s Path? - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਰੇ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਹਮ ਲਾਵੈ ਆਪਨ ਪਾਲੀ ॥੧॥ satagur deaa kare sukhadaataa ham laavai aapan paalee |1| If the True Guru, the Giver of peace, shows His kindness, He attaches us to the hem of His robe. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਜੋ ਗੁਰੁ ਕਹੈ ਸੋਈ ਭਲ ਮਾਨਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਨਿਰਾਲੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ jo gur kahai soee bhal maanahu har har kathaa niraalee |1| rahaau | Whatever the Guru says, accept that as good; the sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, is unique and wonderful. ||1||Pause|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਸਤਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਖਰਚੁ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਧਹੁ ਮਤ ਜਾਣਹੁ ਆਜੁ ਕਿ ਕਾਲੑੀ ॥੨॥ satagur sev kharach har baadhahu mat jaanahu aaj ki kaalaee |2| Let your service to the True Guru be your supplies on the Lord’s Path; pack them up, and don’t think of today or tomorrow. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਹੋਏ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਕੇਲ ਕੇਲਾਲੀ ॥੩॥ jin har japiaa se har hoe har miliaa kel kelaalee |3| Those who meditate on the Lord, become the Lord; the playful, wondrous Lord meets them. ||3|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
