ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸਭਿ ਦੂਖ ਨਿਵਾਰਣਹਾਰੋ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥ naanak har jap sukh paaeaa meree jindurree sabh dookh nivaaranahaaro raam |1| Nanak has found peace, meditating on the Lord, O my soul; the Lord is the Destroyer of all pain. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਾ ਰਸਨਾ ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥ saa rasanaa dhan dhan hai meree jindurree gun gaavai har prabh kere raam | Blessed, blessed is that tongue, O my soul, which sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord God. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਵਨ ਭਲੇ ਸੋਭਨੀਕ ਹਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਸੁਣਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥ te sravan bhale sobhaneek heh meree jindurree har keeratan suneh har tere raam | Sublime and splendid are those ears, O my soul, which listen to the Kirtan of the Lord’s Praises. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸੋ ਸੀਸੁ ਭਲਾ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਾਵਨੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਜਾਇ ਲਗੈ ਗੁਰ ਪੈਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥ so sees bhalaa pavitr paavan hai meree jindurree jo jaae lagai gur paire raam | Sublime, pure and pious is that head, O my soul, which falls at the Guru’s Feet. - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਤੇ ਹਸਤ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਹਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਲੇਖਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥ te hasat puneet pavitr heh meree jindurree jo har jas har har lekheh raam | Sacred and sanctified are those hands, O my soul, which write the Praises of the Lord, Har, Har. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਪਗ ਨਿਤ ਪੂਜੀਅਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਧਰਮ ਚਲੇਸਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥ tis jan ke pag nit poojeeeh meree jindurree jo maarag dharam chaleseh raam | I worship continually the feet of that humble being, O my soul, who walks on the Path of Dharma - the path of righteousness. - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਜੋ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਦੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਗਏ ਪਛੁਤਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥ jo mohi maaeaa chit laaeide meree jindurree se ant ge pachhutaane raam | Those who attach their consciousness to emotional attachment and Maya, O my soul, depart regretfully in the end. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਢੋਈ ਨਾ ਲਹਨਿੑ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਪਾਪਿ ਲੁਭਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥ har daragah dtoee naa lehana meree jindurree jo manamukh paap lubhaane raam | They find no place of rest in the Court of the Lord, O my soul; those self-willed manmukhs are deluded by sin. - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਹਰਿ ਜਪਦਿਆ ਖਿਨੁ ਢਿਲ ਨ ਕੀਜਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਮਤੁ ਕਿ ਜਾਪੈ ਸਾਹੁ ਆਵੈ ਕਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥ har japadiaa khin dtil na keejee meree jindurree mat ki jaapai saahu aavai ki na aavai raam | Do not hesitate for an instant - meditate on the Lord, O my soul; who knows whether he shall draw another breath? - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਸਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਸੋ ਮੂਰਤੁ ਸਾ ਘੜੀ ਸੋ ਮੁਹਤੁ ਸਫਲੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥ saa velaa so moorat saa gharree so muhat safal hai meree jindurree jit har meraa chit aavai raam | That time, that moment, that instant, that second is so fruitful, O my soul, when my Lord comes into my mind. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜਮਕੰਕਰੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥ jan naanak naam dhiaaeaa meree jindurree jamakankar nerr na aavai raam |2| Servant Nanak has meditated on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, O my soul, and now, the Messenger of Death does not draw near him. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਸੁਣੈ ਨਿਤ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸੋ ਡਰੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਪਾਪ ਕਮਤੇ ਰਾਮ ॥ har vekhai sunai nit sabh kichh meree jindurree so ddarai jin paap kamate raam | The Lord continually watches, and hears everything, O my soul; he alone is afraid, who commits sins. - Guru Ramdas Ji
