ਭਰਮੇ ਭੂਲੀ ਰੇ ਜੈ ਚੰਦਾ ॥ bharame bhoolee re jai chandaa | Deluded by doubt, O Jai Chand, - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਨਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਚੀਨਿੑਆ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ nahee nahee cheenaa paramaanandaa |1| rahaau | you have not realized the Lord, the embodiment of supreme bliss. ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਖਾਇਆ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਬਧਾਇਆ ਖਿੰਥਾ ਮੁੰਦਾ ਮਾਇਆ ॥ ghar ghar khaaeaa pindd badhaaeaa khinthaa mundaa maaeaa | You eat in each and every house, fattening your body; you wear the patched coat and the ear-rings of the beggar, for the sake of wealth. - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਭੂਮਿ ਮਸਾਣ ਕੀ ਭਸਮ ਲਗਾਈ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਤਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੨॥ bhoom masaan kee bhasam lagaaee gur bin tat na paaeaa |2| You apply the ashes of cremation to your body, but without a Guru, you have not found the essence of reality. ||2|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਕਾਇ ਜਪਹੁ ਰੇ ਕਾਇ ਤਪਹੁ ਰੇ ਕਾਇ ਬਿਲੋਵਹੁ ਪਾਣੀ ॥ kaae japahu re kaae tapahu re kaae bilovahu paanee | Why bother to chant your spells? Why bother to practice austerities? Why bother to churn water? - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਲਖ ਚਉਰਾਸੀਹ ਜਿਨਿੑ ਉਪਾਈ ਸੋ ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਨਿਰਬਾਣੀ ॥੩॥ lakh chauraaseeh jina upaaee so simarahu nirabaanee |3| Meditate on the Lord of Nirvaanaa, who has created the 8.4 million species of beings. ||3|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਕਾਇ ਕਮੰਡਲੁ ਕਾਪੜੀਆ ਰੇ ਅਠਸਠਿ ਕਾਇ ਫਿਰਾਹੀ ॥ kaae kamanddal kaaparreea re atthasatth kaae firaahee | Why bother to carry the water-pot, O saffron-robed Yogi? Why bother to visit the sixty-eight holy places of pilgrimage? - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਬਦਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨੁ ਸੁਨੁ ਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਕਣ ਬਿਨੁ ਗਾਹੁ ਕਿ ਪਾਹੀ ॥੪॥੧॥ badat trilochan sun re praanee kan bin gaahu ki paahee |4|1| Says Trilochan, listen, mortal: you have no corn - what are you trying to thresh? ||4||1|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji

ਅੰਤਿ ਕਾਲਿ ਜੋ ਲਛਮੀ ਸਿਮਰੈ ਐਸੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਮਹਿ ਜੇ ਮਰੈ ॥ ant kaal jo lachhamee simarai aisee chintaa meh je marai | At the very last moment, one who thinks of wealth, and dies in such thoughts, - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਸਰਪ ਜੋਨਿ ਵਲਿ ਵਲਿ ਅਉਤਰੈ ॥੧॥ sarap jon val val aautarai |1| shall be reincarnated over and over again, in the form of serpents. ||1|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਅਰੀ ਬਾਈ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਤਿ ਬੀਸਰੈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ aree baaee gobid naam mat beesarai | rahaau | O sister, do not forget the Name of the Lord of the Universe. ||Pause|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji

ਬੇਸਵਾ ਜੋਨਿ ਵਲਿ ਵਲਿ ਅਉਤਰੈ ॥੨॥ besavaa jon val val aautarai |2| shall be reincarnated over and over again as a prostitute. ||2|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਅੰਤਿ ਕਾਲਿ ਜੋ ਲੜਿਕੇ ਸਿਮਰੈ ਐਸੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਮਹਿ ਜੇ ਮਰੈ ॥ ant kaal jo larrike simarai aisee chintaa meh je marai | At the very last moment, one who thinks of his children, and dies in such thoughts, - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਸੂਕਰ ਜੋਨਿ ਵਲਿ ਵਲਿ ਅਉਤਰੈ ॥੩॥ sookar jon val val aautarai |3| shall be reincarnated over and over again as a pig. ||3|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਅੰਤਿ ਕਾਲਿ ਜੋ ਮੰਦਰ ਸਿਮਰੈ ਐਸੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਮਹਿ ਜੇ ਮਰੈ ॥ ant kaal jo mandar simarai aisee chintaa meh je marai | At the very last moment, one who thinks of mansions, and dies in such thoughts, - Bhagat Trilochan Ji
ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਜੋਨਿ ਵਲਿ ਵਲਿ ਅਉਤਰੈ ॥੪॥ pret jon val val aautarai |4| shall be reincarnated over and over again as a goblin. ||4|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji

ਬਦਤਿ ਤਿਲੋਚਨੁ ਤੇ ਨਰ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਪੀਤੰਬਰੁ ਵਾ ਕੇ ਰਿਦੈ ਬਸੈ ॥੫॥੨॥ badat tilochan te nar mukataa peetanbar vaa ke ridai basai |5|2| says Trilochan, that man shall be liberated; the Lord shall abide in his heart. ||5||2|| - Bhagat Trilochan Ji

ਪਰਮਾਦਿ ਪੁਰਖਮਨੋਪਿਮੰ ਸਤਿ ਆਦਿ ਭਾਵ ਰਤੰ ॥ paramaad purakhamanopiman sat aad bhaav ratan | In the very beginning, was the Primal Lord, unrivalled, the Lover of Truth and other virtues. - Bhagat Jaidev Ji
ਪਰਮਦਭੁਤੰ ਪਰਕ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਪਰੰ ਜਦਿਚਿੰਤਿ ਸਰਬ ਗਤੰ ॥੧॥ paramadabhutan parakrit paran jadichint sarab gatan |1| He is absolutely wonderful, transcending creation; remembering Him, all are emancipated. ||1|| - Bhagat Jaidev Ji

ਬਦਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਤਤ ਮਇਅੰ ॥ bad amrit tat meian | the embodiment of ambrosial nectar and reality. - Bhagat Jaidev Ji
ਨ ਦਨੋਤਿ ਜਸਮਰਣੇਨ ਜਨਮ ਜਰਾਧਿ ਮਰਣ ਭਇਅੰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ n danot jasamaranen janam jaraadh maran bheian |1| rahaau | Remembering Him in meditation, the fear of birth, old age and death will not trouble you. ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Jaidev Ji
ਇਛਸਿ ਜਮਾਦਿ ਪਰਾਭਯੰ ਜਸੁ ਸ੍ਵਸਤਿ ਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਤੰ ॥ eichhas jamaad paraabhayan jas svasat sukrit kritan | If you desire to escape the fear of the Messenger of Death, then praise the Lord joyfully, and do good deeds. - Bhagat Jaidev Ji

ਲੋਭਾਦਿ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਪਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਹੰ ਜਦਿਬਿਧਿ ਆਚਰਣੰ ॥ lobhaad drisatt par grihan jadibidh aacharanan | If you seek the path of good conduct, forsake greed, and do not look upon other men’s property and women. - Bhagat Jaidev Ji
ਤਜਿ ਸਕਲ ਦੁਹਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੁਰਮਤੀ ਭਜੁ ਚਕ੍ਰਧਰ ਸਰਣੰ ॥੩॥ taj sakal duhakrit duramatee bhaj chakradhar saranan |3| Renounce all evil actions and evil inclinations, and hurry to the Sanctuary of the Lord. ||3|| - Bhagat Jaidev Ji
ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤ ਨਿਜ ਨਿਹਕੇਵਲਾ ਰਿਦ ਕਰਮਣਾ ਬਚਸਾ ॥ har bhagat nij nihakevalaa rid karamanaa bachasaa | Worship the immaculate Lord, in thought, word and deed. - Bhagat Jaidev Ji
ਜੋਗੇਨ ਕਿੰ ਜਗੇਨ ਕਿੰ ਦਾਨੇਨ ਕਿੰ ਤਪਸਾ ॥੪॥ jogen kin jagen kin daanen kin tapasaa |4| What is the good of practicing Yoga, giving feasts and charity, and practicing penance? ||4|| - Bhagat Jaidev Ji
