ਜਉ ਮੈ ਰੂਪ ਕੀਏ ਬਹੁਤੇਰੇ ਅਬ ਫੁਨਿ ਰੂਪੁ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥ jau mai roop kee bahutere ab fun roop na hoee | In the past, I have taken many forms, but I shall not take form again. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਤਾਗਾ ਤੰਤੁ ਸਾਜੁ ਸਭੁ ਥਾਕਾ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਬਸਿ ਹੋਈ ॥੧॥ taagaa tant saaj sabh thaakaa raam naam bas hoee |1| The strings and wires of the musical instrument are worn out, and I am in the power of the Lord’s Name. ||1|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਅਬ ਮੋਹਿ ਨਾਚਨੋ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥ ab mohi naachano na aavai | Now, I no longer dance to the tune. - Bhagat Kabir Ji

ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਲੈ ਜਾਰੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਗਾਗਰਿ ਫੂਟੀ ॥ kaam krodh maaeaa lai jaaree trisanaa gaagar foottee | I have burnt away sexual desire, anger and attachment to Maya, and the pitcher of my desires has burst. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਾਮ ਚੋਲਨਾ ਭਇਆ ਹੈ ਪੁਰਾਨਾ ਗਇਆ ਭਰਮੁ ਸਭੁ ਛੂਟੀ ॥੨॥ kaam cholanaa bheaa hai puraanaa geaa bharam sabh chhoottee |2| The gown of sensuous pleasures is worn out, and all my doubts have been dispelled. ||2|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਸਰਬ ਭੂਤ ਏਕੈ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨਿਆ ਚੂਕੇ ਬਾਦ ਬਿਬਾਦਾ ॥ sarab bhoot ekai kar jaaniaa chooke baad bibaadaa | I look upon all beings alike, and my conflict and strife are ended. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਮੈ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਭਏ ਰਾਮ ਪਰਸਾਦਾ ॥੩॥੬॥੨੮॥ keh kabeer mai pooraa paaeaa bhe raam parasaadaa |3|6|28| Says Kabeer, when the Lord showed His Favor, I obtained Him, the Perfect One. ||3||6||28|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji

ਰੋਜਾ ਧਰੈ ਮਨਾਵੈ ਅਲਹੁ ਸੁਆਦਤਿ ਜੀਅ ਸੰਘਾਰੈ ॥ rojaa dharai manaavai alahu suaadat jeea sanghaarai | You keep your fasts to please Allah, while you murder other beings for pleasure. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਆਪਾ ਦੇਖਿ ਅਵਰ ਨਹੀ ਦੇਖੈ ਕਾਹੇ ਕਉ ਝਖ ਮਾਰੈ ॥੧॥ aapaa dekh avar nahee dekhai kaahe kau jhakh maarai |1| You look after your own interests, and so not see the interests of others. What good is your word? ||1|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਾਜੀ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਏਕੁ ਤੋਹੀ ਮਹਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੋਚਿ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ਨ ਦੇਖੈ ॥ kaajee saahib ek tohee meh teraa soch bichaar na dekhai | O Qazi, the One Lord is within you, but you do not behold Him by thought or contemplation. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਖਬਰਿ ਨ ਕਰਹਿ ਦੀਨ ਕੇ ਬਉਰੇ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਜਨਮੁ ਅਲੇਖੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ khabar na kareh deen ke baure taa te janam alekhai |1| rahaau | You do not care for others, you are a religious fanatic, and your life is of no account at all. ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਸਾਚੁ ਕਤੇਬ ਬਖਾਨੈ ਅਲਹੁ ਨਾਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਈ ॥ saach kateb bakhaanai alahu naar purakh nahee koee | Your holy scriptures say that Allah is True, and that he is neither male nor female. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਪਢੇ ਗੁਨੇ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਬਉਰੇ ਜਉ ਦਿਲ ਮਹਿ ਖਬਰਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥੨॥ padte gune naahee kachh baure jau dil meh khabar na hoee |2| But you gain nothing by reading and studying, O mad-man, if you do not gain the understanding in your heart. ||2|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਅਲਹੁ ਗੈਬੁ ਸਗਲ ਘਟ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਲੇਹੁ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥ alahu gaib sagal ghatt bheetar hiradai lehu bichaaree | Allah is hidden in every heart; reflect upon this in your mind. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਹਿੰਦੂ ਤੁਰਕ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਮਹਿ ਏਕੈ ਕਹੈ ਕਬੀਰ ਪੁਕਾਰੀ ॥੩॥੭॥੨੯॥ hindoo turak duhoon meh ekai kahai kabeer pukaaree |3|7|29| The One Lord is within both Hindu and Muslim; Kabeer proclaims this out loud. ||3||7||29|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji

ਕੀਓ ਸਿੰਗਾਰੁ ਮਿਲਨ ਕੇ ਤਾਈ ॥ keeo singaar milan ke taaee | I have decorated myself to meet my Husband Lord. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਹਰਿ ਨ ਮਿਲੇ ਜਗਜੀਵਨ ਗੁਸਾਈ ॥੧॥ har na mile jagajeevan gusaaee |1| But the Lord, the Life of the Word, the Sustainer of the Universe, has not come to meet me. ||1|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਹਰਿ ਮੇਰੋ ਪਿਰੁ ਹਉ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਬਹੁਰੀਆ ॥ har mero pir hau har kee bahureea | The Lord is my Husband, and I am the Lord’s bride. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਰਾਮ ਬਡੇ ਮੈ ਤਨਕ ਲਹੁਰੀਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ raam badde mai tanak lahureea |1| rahaau | The Lord is so great, and I am infinitesimally small. ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਧਨ ਪਿਰ ਏਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਬਸੇਰਾ ॥ dhan pir ekai sang baseraa | The bride and the Groom dwell together. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਸੇਜ ਏਕ ਪੈ ਮਿਲਨੁ ਦੁਹੇਰਾ ॥੨॥ sej ek pai milan duheraa |2| They lie upon the one bed, but their union is difficult. ||2|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਧੰਨਿ ਸੁਹਾਗਨਿ ਜੋ ਪੀਅ ਭਾਵੈ ॥ dhan suhaagan jo peea bhaavai | Blessed is the soul-bride, who is pleasing to her Husband Lord. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਫਿਰਿ ਜਨਮਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥੩॥੮॥੩੦॥ keh kabeer fir janam na aavai |3|8|30| Says Kabeer, she shall not have to be reincarnated again. ||3||8||30|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji

ਹੀਰੈ ਹੀਰਾ ਬੇਧਿ ਪਵਨ ਮਨੁ ਸਹਜੇ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ ॥ heerai heeraa bedh pavan man sahaje rahiaa samaaee | When the Diamond of the Lord pierces the diamond of my mind, the fickle mind waving in the wind is easily absorbed into Him. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਸਗਲ ਜੋਤਿ ਇਨਿ ਹੀਰੈ ਬੇਧੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬਚਨੀ ਮੈ ਪਾਈ ॥੧॥ sagal jot in heerai bedhee satigur bachanee mai paaee |1| This Diamond fills all with Divine Light; through the True Guru’s Teachings, I have found Him. ||1|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਕਥਾ ਅਨਾਹਦ ਬਾਨੀ ॥ har kee kathaa anaahad baanee | The sermon of the Lord is the unstruck, endless song. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਹੰਸੁ ਹੁਇ ਹੀਰਾ ਲੇਇ ਪਛਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ hans hue heeraa lee pachhaanee |1| rahaau | Becoming a swan, one recognizes the Diamond of the Lord. ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਹੀਰਾ ਅਸ ਦੇਖਿਓ ਜਗ ਮਹ ਰਹਾ ਸਮਾਈ ॥ keh kabeer heeraa as dekhio jag meh rahaa samaaee | Says Kabeer, I have seen such a Diamond, permeating and pervading the world. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਗੁਪਤਾ ਹੀਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਭਇਓ ਜਬ ਗੁਰ ਗਮ ਦੀਆ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥੨॥੧॥੩੧॥ gupataa heeraa pragatt bheo jab gur gam deea dikhaaee |2|1|31| The hidden diamond became visible, when the Guru revealed it to me. ||2||1||31|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji

ਪਹਿਲੀ ਕਰੂਪਿ ਕੁਜਾਤਿ ਕੁਲਖਨੀ ਸਾਹੁਰੈ ਪੇਈਐ ਬੁਰੀ ॥ pahilee karoop kujaat kulakhanee saahurai peeeai buree | My first wife, ignorance, was ugly, of low social status and bad character; she was evil in my home, and in her parents’ home. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਅਬ ਕੀ ਸਰੂਪਿ ਸੁਜਾਨਿ ਸੁਲਖਨੀ ਸਹਜੇ ਉਦਰਿ ਧਰੀ ॥੧॥ ab kee saroop sujaan sulakhanee sahaje udar dharee |1| My present bride, divine understanding, is beautiful, wise and well-behaved; I have taken her to my heart. ||1|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਭਲੀ ਸਰੀ ਮੁਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਬਰੀ ॥ bhalee saree muee meree pahilee baree | It has turned out so well, that my first wife has died. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੀਵਉ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਬ ਕੀ ਧਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ jug jug jeevau meree ab kee dharee |1| rahaau | May she, whom I have now married, live throughout the ages. ||1||Pause|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਜਬ ਲਹੁਰੀ ਆਈ ਬਡੀ ਕਾ ਸੁਹਾਗੁ ਟਰਿਓ ॥ kahu kabeer jab lahuree aaee baddee kaa suhaag ttario | Says Kabeer, when the younger bride came, the elder one lost her husband. - Bhagat Kabir Ji
ਲਹੁਰੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਭਈ ਅਬ ਮੇਰੈ ਜੇਠੀ ਅਉਰੁ ਧਰਿਓ ॥੨॥੨॥੩੨॥ lahuree sang bhee ab merai jetthee aaur dhario |2|2|32| The younger bride is with me now, and the elder one has taken another husband. ||2||2||32|| - Bhagat Kabir Ji
