ਕਰਿ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਭੁਖ ਜਾਇ ਲਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ॥ kar seveh pooraa satiguroo bhukh jaae leh meree | He serves the Perfect True Guru, and his hunger and self-conceit are eliminated. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਕੀ ਭੁਖ ਸਭ ਗਈ ਤਿਨ ਪਿਛੈ ਹੋਰ ਖਾਇ ਘਨੇਰੀ ॥ gurasikhaa kee bhukh sabh gee tin pichhai hor khaae ghaneree | The hunger of the Gursikh is totally eliminated; indeed, many others are satisfied through them. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਫਿਰਿ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਪੁੰਨ ਕੇਰੀ ॥੩॥ jan naanak har pun beejiaa fir tott na aavai har pun keree |3| Servant Nanak has planted the Seed of the Lord’s Goodness; this Goodness of the Lord shall never be exhausted. ||3|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਮਨਿ ਵਾਧਾਈਆ ਜਿਨ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਡਿਠਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥ gurasikhaa man vaadhaaeea jin meraa satiguroo dditthaa raam raaje | The minds of the Gursikhs rejoice, because they have seen my True Guru, O Lord King. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਕੋਈ ਕਰਿ ਗਲ ਸੁਣਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਸੋ ਲਗੈ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਮਨਿ ਮਿਠਾ ॥ koee kar gal sunaavai har naam kee so lagai gurasikhaa man mitthaa | If someone recites to them the story of the Lord’s Name, it seems so sweet to the mind of those Gursikhs. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਪੈਨਾਈਅਹਿ ਜਿਨੑਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਠਾ ॥ har daragah gurasikh painaaeeeh jinaa meraa satigur tutthaa | The Gursikhs are robed in honor in the Court of the Lord; my True Guru is very pleased with them. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਵੁਠਾ ॥੪॥੧੨॥੧੯॥ jan naanak har har hoeaa har har man vutthaa |4|12|19| Servant Nanak has become the Lord, Har, Har; the Lord, Har, Har, abides within his mind. ||4||12||19|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਜਿਨੑਾ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਵੈ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥ jinaa bhettiaa meraa pooraa satiguroo tin har naam drirraavai raam raaje | Those who meet my Perfect True Guru - He implants within them the Name of the Lord, the Lord King. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਭੁਖ ਸਭ ਉਤਰੈ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ॥ tis kee trisanaa bhukh sabh utarai jo har naam dhiaavai | Those who meditate on the Lord’s Name have all of their desire and hunger removed. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਦੇ ਤਿਨੑ ਜਮੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥ jo har har naam dhiaaeide tina jam nerr na aavai | Those who meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har - the Messenger of Death cannot even approach them. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਨਿਤ ਜਪੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਤਰਾਵੈ ॥੧॥ jan naanak kau har kripaa kar nit japai har naam har naam taraavai |1| O Lord, shower Your Mercy upon servant Nanak, that he may ever chant the Name of the Lord; through the Name of the Lord, he is saved. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਤਿਨਾ ਫਿਰਿ ਬਿਘਨੁ ਨ ਹੋਈ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥ jinee guramukh naam dhiaaeaa tinaa fir bighan na hoee raam raaje | Those who, as Gurmukh, meditate on the Naam, meet no obstacles in their path, O Lord King. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਤਿਨ ਪੂਜੇ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ ॥ jinee satigur purakh manaaeaa tin pooje sabh koee | Those who are pleasing to the almighty True Guru are worshipped by everyone. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨੑੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਤਿਨੑਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਸਦ ਹੋਈ ॥ jinaee satigur piaaraa seviaa tinaa sukh sad hoee | Those who serve their Beloved True Guru obtain eternal peace. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨੑਾ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਤਿਨੑਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਈ ॥੨॥ jinaa naanak satigur bhettiaa tinaa miliaa har soee |2| Those who meet the True Guru, O Nanak - the Lord Himself meets them. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨੑਾ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹੈ ਤਿਨੑ ਹਰਿ ਰਖਣਹਾਰਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥ jinaa antar guramukh preet hai tina har rakhanahaaraa raam raaje | Those Gurmukhs, who are filled with His Love, have the Lord as their Saving Grace, O Lord King. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਤਿਨੑ ਕੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਆ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਨੑ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥ tina kee nindaa koee kiaa kare jina har naam piaaraa | How can anyone slander them? The Lord’s Name is dear to them. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਸਭ ਦੁਸਟ ਝਖ ਮਾਰਾ ॥ jin har setee man maaniaa sabh dusatt jhakh maaraa | Those whose minds are in harmony with the Lord - all their enemies attack them in vain. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਖਣਹਾਰਾ ॥੩॥ jan naanak naam dhiaaeaa har rakhanahaaraa |3| Servant Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the Lord Protector. ||3|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਿ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਭਗਤ ਉਪਾਇਆ ਪੈਜ ਰਖਦਾ ਆਇਆ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥ har jug jug bhagat upaaeaa paij rakhadaa aaeaa raam raaje | In each and every age, He creates His devotees and preserves their honor, O Lord King. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਹਰਣਾਖਸੁ ਦੁਸਟੁ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦੁ ਤਰਾਇਆ ॥ haranaakhas dusatt har maariaa prahalaad taraaeaa | The Lord killed the wicked Harnaakhash, and saved Prahlaad. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀਆ ਨਿੰਦਕਾ ਪਿਠਿ ਦੇਇ ਨਾਮਦੇਉ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਇਆ ॥ ahankaareea nindakaa pitth dee naamadeo mukh laaeaa | He turned his back on the egotists and slanderers, and showed His Face to Naam Dayv. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਐਸਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਅੰਤਿ ਲਏ ਛਡਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੧੩॥੨੦॥ jan naanak aisaa har seviaa ant le chhaddaaeaa |4|13|20| Servant Nanak has so served the Lord, that He will deliver him in the end. ||4||13||20|| - Guru Ramdas Ji

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਘਰਿ ਵਸੈ ਹਰੇ ॥ har guroo milaavahu mere piaare ghar vasai hare | Meet with the Lord-Guru, O my dear beloved, and He will dwell in the home of your self. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਰੰਗਿ ਰਲੀਆ ਮਾਣਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ ॥ rang raleea maanahu mere piaare har kirapaa kare | Revel in His Love, O my dear beloved, as the Lord bestows His Mercy. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤੁਠਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮੇਲੇ ਹਰੇ ॥੧॥ gur naanak tutthaa mere piaare mele hare |1| As Guru Nanak is pleased, O my dear beloved, we are united with the Lord. ||1|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਮੈ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਨ ਚਾਖਿਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਭਾਉ ਕਰੇ ॥ mai prem na chaakhiaa mere piaare bhaau kare | I have not tasted divine love, O my dear beloved, within my heart. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਮਨਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਨ ਬੁਝੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਿਤ ਆਸ ਕਰੇ ॥ man trisanaa na bujhee mere piaare nit aas kare | The mind’s desires are not quenched, O my dear beloved, but I still hold out hope. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਨਿਤ ਜੋਬਨੁ ਜਾਵੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜਮੁ ਸਾਸ ਹਿਰੇ ॥ nit joban jaavai mere piaare jam saas hire | Youth is passing away, O my dear beloved, and death is stealing away the breath of life. - Guru Ramdas Ji
ਭਾਗ ਮਣੀ ਸੋਹਾਗਣਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥੨॥ bhaag manee sohaagan mere piaare naanak har ur dhaare |2| The virtuous bride realizes the good fortune of her destiny, O my dear beloved; O Nanak, she enshrines the Lord within her heart. ||2|| - Guru Ramdas Ji
